Duration – 4 hours on the day (usually 8pm – to 12am)

Any and all parts of this package are optional – I am happy to customise any aspect of this package for you, usually at no additional cost.

BEFORE THE DAY:

First meeting – Usually at time of booking, to discuss the possibilities/requirements, also to start discussing likely tastes in music. This generally takes no more than an hour.

Music preparation – Using the information provided about attendees’ ages and so forth, as well as any themes, I get a good picture of their likely tastes, from this I generate a personalised play list that is a reflection of these tastes. Depending on the information acquired for this process it can take up to 5 hours, though usually 2-3 hours.

Second meeting – Usually a fortnight before the event to discuss the run-sheet and other specifics such as key songs. This usually takes no more than an hour.

ON THE DAY:

Early set-up – I set-up prior to your guests’ arrival (location permitting), location allowing, or at a time decided with your audio/video supplier. This takes 2-3 hours (including travel)

Dance music – Unless there is a specific event post-dinner/pre-dance the move from background music to more danceable music is gradual – slowly but surely bringing people onto the dance-floor.

Pack-down – Pack-down is always on the night leaving the way clear for venue clean-up or marquee pull-down. This usually takes about 90 minutes.

CHARGE:

Between meetings, music preparation and actually DJing on the night I am working for you for between 10 and 12 hours. $900.00 (including GST) / £300
