When hiring a DJ, especially when it is your first (and maybe only) time doing so, it can
be difficult to know what to look for in a good DJ, or even what the definition of a 'good DJ' actually is. DJs provide a
service that relates to the playing of pre-recorded music, but what can you ask for/expect from the DJ that you have
decided seems to be 'good'?
DJ Alan Duval, The Music Man, provides a uniquely personalised Mobile DJ, disco and dance service for any special event
you may have, whether a wedding, a civil partnership (civil union in NZ), an important birthday, a wedding anniversary or
any other family gathering; or be it a company Christmas, client/supplier meet & greet or product launch.
My service is 'personalised' in that I take the time to find out how closely involved with the music selection
you want to be, and then work on that basis - you may want to dictate every last song that is played at your disco,
or you may want to make a few requests and leave the rest to me.
Don't let the word 'disco' fool you, I am also a Rock DJ (ho ho), both classic rock and modern rock, and I can play house
and trance, hip-hop and R'n'B, as well as classic disco and modern disco or dance, and anything else you may want.
