Duration – 7 hours on the day (usually 5pm – to 12am)

Any and all parts of this package are optional – I am happy to customise any aspect of this package for you, often at no additional cost.

BEFORE THE BIG DAY:

First meeting – Usually at time of booking, to discuss the possibilities – traditional or modern, or a bit of both, also to start discussing your tastes in music. This usually takes no more than an hour, but can be done by email questionnaire if preferred (a meeting is recommended, but your convenience comes first).

Music preparation – Either at the first meeting or through my questionnaire I get a very good picture of your tastes, from this I generate a personalised play list that is a reflection of the music you love now and the music you grew up with. Depending on the information acquired for this process it can take up to 8 hours, though usually 4-5 hours.

Second meeting – Usually a 10-14 days before the wedding to discuss the specifics such as your first dance, any other key songs, and any other requirements. This usually takes no more than an hour.

ON YOUR WEDDING DAY:

Early set-up – I set-up prior to your guests’ arrival (location permitting), location allowing. This takes 2-3 hours (including travel).

Dinner music – From background music prior to your arrival through your entrance music to the background music during your meal (based on the play list that we have discussed). This is usually the first 4 hours of the evening.

Dance music – From the first dance through to the end of the night (based on the play list that we have discussed). This is usually the last 3 hours of the evening.

Pack-down – Pack-down is always on the night leaving the way clear for venue clean-up or marquee pull-down. This takes between 60 and 90 minutes.

CHARGE:

Between meetings, music preparation and actually DJing on the night I am working for you for between 15 and 20 hours. $1170.00 (including GST) / £390
